A Compact 4×4 Filtering Microstrip Patch Antenna Array With Dolph-Chebyshev Power Distribution

چکیده

This paper proposes a compact 4×4 filtering microstrip patch antenna array with Dolph-Chebyshev distribution implemented by multilayer structure. The proposed features good performance but contains no extra parts in the feeding or radiating element. whole consists of four 1×4 subarrays, each subarray is composed antennas which are coupled-fed single line. Inside desired passband, properly choosing coupling area along line, patches induced in-phase currents therefore achieving excellent radiation characteristics. On other hand, can’t be excited outside passband would enable suppression performance. In order to implement low sidelobe level (SLL), subarrays combined and fed Dolphy-Chebyshev excitation method. Finally, implemented, fabricated measured. maximum measured gain 14.7 dBi, better than 25 dB.
